Overview
At Teak and Tanned, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our luxury handicrafts. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, our refund and returns policy lasts for 7 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if 7 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.
Non-returnable Items:
- Bespoke Furniture: Due to customization according to your specific requirements, we cannot offer returns or exchanges on bespoke furniture.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer directly.
Partial Refunds
In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted:
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.
- Items returned more than 7 days after delivery.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund yet, please:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Contact your bank; processing times can vary.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at support@teakandtanned.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, who will be informed about your return.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, please email us at support@teakandtanned.com for the return address. For items that are defective or damaged, we will cover the return shipping costs. However, for items returned due to personal preference, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you can vary.
For returning more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of your returned item.
